Radha Sasa Sudha Nidhi Verse 1

yasyāḥ kadāpi vasanāñcala-khelanottha-
dhanyāti-dhanya-pavanena kṛtārthamāni
yogīndra-durgama-gatir madhusūdano’pi
tasyaa namo’stu vṛṣabhānubhuvo diśe’pi

yasyāḥ — of whom (of Shri Rādhā), kadāpi — at any time / sometimes, vasanāñcala — the edge (border) of the garment, khelanottha — arising from playful movement, dhanyāti-dhanya — most blessed, supremely auspicious, pavanena — by the breeze, kṛtārthamāni — feeling fulfilled / gratified, yogīndra-durgama-gatiḥ — whose path is inaccessible to the greatest yogis, madhusūdanaḥ api — even Madhusūdana (Lord Krishna), tasya — unto Her (Shri Rādhā), namo’stu — I offer obeisance, vṛṣabhānu-bhuvaḥ — of the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu, diśe’pi — even to the direction where She dwells.

Meaning

Even Madhusūdana, whose path is inaccessible to great yogis, feels fulfilled by a breeze stirred by the edge of Her garment. I bow even toward the direction graced by Vṛṣabhānu’s daughter.

Commentary

The verse opens with yasyāḥ kadāpi — “of Her, sometimes,” suggesting that even the slightest movement of Rādha Rani’s garment, even once, creates waves of divine transformation across the universe. When the edge of Her sari flutters playfully in the wind during Her divine plays, it stirs a breeze (pavana) imbued with the fragrance of Her divine body and the essence of Her love (mahā-prema).
That wind is called dhanyāti-dhanya pavana — not merely holy, but supremely blessed; it carries a sanctity so high that even Krishna Himself feels gratified by it.
Here lies the most astonishing revelation: Madhusūdana (Krishna) feels fulfilled merely by the touch of a breeze touched by Her garment.
Krishna is described as yogīndra-durgama-gatiḥ — His ways, nature, and essence are beyond the comprehension of even the greatest yogis, sages, or gods.
The scriptures declare that after countless lifetimes of penance, a yogi may reach the vision of Krishna, yet Krishna Himself feels blessed when touched indirectly by the mere breeze from Rādhā’s sari.
This reversal of divine hierarchy reveals a secret truth known only in Vraja-rasa:
“Where all the Upanishads end, there begins the fragrance of Rādhā’s love.”
Hit Ju Maharaj says , I bow toward the direction (diśe’pi) where She resides.
